Italy’s anti-drug education initiative has surpassed over one million drug-prevention booklets distributed in just one month. The initiative forms part of the international Truth About Drugs education programme, news european elections which aims to provide accessible knowledge about commonly abused substances and their impact on health and society.
Approximately hundreds of volunteers across the country are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in public spaces, shops and community areas. The campaign focuses on prevention through education, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a clear way.
The initiative forms part of Scientology-supported social betterment activities, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
